Wolves of Rome is a Magic: The Gathering-inspired universe with a twist of ancient history where anyone can earn tokens through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem. Players can battle, collect, compete, and build a collection of cards and take their decks into battle. All cards and in-game cosmetics can be minted on the Cardano blockchain as NFTs and are easily transferable to secondary markets. This allows for true ownership and tradability of the players assets, bringing the real-world trading mechanics of card games to the digital space.
Unlike many NFT projects that have a game somewhere on their roadmap, WoR has gone about things differently; We are a game that has put all the focus on building a playable alpha before selling a single NFT to the community. We wanted to ensure that we are not just a promise like many of the very optimistic projects out there, but rather; that we’re actually delivering a meaningful and fun product to the space that the community can test in its earliest form before investing in NFTs, tokens etc. The WoR Empires drops are a pre-game NFT collection consisting of exceptional, thematic, 3D animated art and they’re stacked full of incredibly rewarding utility, which we will detail in this document.
