Wada provides a platform to the people of Africa and the diaspora to reimagine local socioeconomic models that reflect the culture, and future aspirations. This is done with a focus on decentralization, self-organisation and distributive governance. The three pillars of Wada are infrastructure, education, and dApp creation.
Infrastructure: Wada seeks to support local hubs throughout Africa and the African diaspora. This support includes setting up a solid infrastructure so that basic needs such as access to internet services and electricity are sufficient for realizing innovation potential.
Education: Initially our approach to education will focus on two main subject areas.
dApp Creation: On the local level we are bringing technical people and community members together to solve local value and resource problems through dApp creation within our Hub.
Wada’s chief aim is to become the premier provider of technology and tools for social change on the African continent and in the African diaspora. Our core priority includes, but is not limited to, building resource hubs throughout the continent and in the diaspora as well as building virtual hubs. We seek to enable infrastructure for building solutions, transferring knowledge and skills, and deploying physical resources. We hope Wada will enable a brighter future for all she reaches.
