Welcome to the future. In September 1501 Pavia Italy was the birthplace of Gerolamo (Jerome) Cardano, whom the Cardano blockchain project was named after. 2021 sees the launch of Pavia.io which is a metaverse being built on Cardano. It seems fitting to name our virtual world Pavia.

It is very important to explain that this metaverse project is in its infancy, these are the very early stages of development, this digital world will only succeed with the ongoing love and support of the Cardano community. Some 60,000 Lands were sold October thru November 2021 and Q1 2022 will see the final sale, completing the Land sales up to 100,000 unique parcels.
Each NFT land is a uniquely numbered Cardano NFT (CNFT) based on coordinates within Pavia.io. During the early stages you cannot visit or deploy any content onto your land parcel but 3D working groups have been formed in the projects Discord group. Look and feel videos have been produced.
In December 2021 Pavia Corp airdropped 500,000,000 fungible $PAVIA tokens which are native to the Cardano blockchain. These will have utility within the game and the wider metaverse experience. Liquidity is being added to Cardano’s first ever DEXs. The token is also noted on the CoinMarketCap website. There is lots more to come from this project as it develops over the next weeks and months.
