Cool punks on the Cardano blockchain, limited to 1,000 unique female, male ,ape and space editions!
AdaPunks are NFT collectables on the Cardano blockchain. Each AdaPunk is uniquely generated with computer algorithms, and there will only be 1,000 ever minted. AdaPunks are in no way affiliated with Larva Labs and/or CryptoPunks and/or SolPunks. Rather, we wanted to create a different set of punks: punks with a limited supply of only 1,000 so we could focus on high-quality design features that differentiate them from all other blockchain punks.
The end goal was to offer the Cardano community a chance to own a unique and cool NFT punk, without paying horrendous gas fees. And we think we did it! Many of the AdaPunk attributes are completely unique to this NFT collection…things like humanoid brain punks, laser eyes androids, no jaw mutants, and orangutan apes sporting hoodies.
The Phase 1 release is complete and dropped 500 punks out of the total 1,000 supply. Phase 1 consisted of 100 females, 212 males, 141 space, and 47 ape punks. And just for the record, the first wave of 100 females were the very first NFT punks of any kind to be minted on the Cardano blockchain (September 1st 2021)! There are now other ‘punks’ projects live on the Cardano blockchain, but our AdaPunks stand alone with unique design attributes, and one of a kind species types like our space and ape editions. In late December 2021, our Phase 2 mint will drop the final 500 AdaPunks (for a total of 1,000). This last mint will consist of the remaining 100 females, 212 males, 141 space, and 47 apes. We recognize that promises and hype can distort the expectations of community members and project fans. We don’t make promises of amazing or futuristic features and put them far off in the roadmap. We don’t tell you to invest in these (or other) NFTs. We want to be transparent and honest about what this project is and will be: Cool punks on the Cardano blockchain, limited to 1,000 unique editions, no more, no less.
